A while back, a close friend and I were talking. At the time, she’d been absent from her YouTube channel for nearly a year, and tried desperately time and time again to get back on track.
That’s when the topic of readiness introduced itself. There is a such thing as not being ready. Not because you didn’t do your due diligence or you were lazy, but because readiness with a positive outcome is attained subconsciously with growth. It allows us to circle back to things that didn’t quite work out the first time.
Today, after a year and a half, my friend is confidently “back at it again with the YouTube!”
When the time is right, you’ll know it. You’ll realize why you weren’t fully engulfed in that book the first time you attempted to read it but finished it in three days the second time around. Or why you finally released that controversial piece you penned six months ago, only to receive tons of accolades.
Just make sure that when that readiness comes, you take it and run with it.
