This is probably the second hair post I’ve done, so this look maybe new to most of you. Since my twa, this is the first time straightening my hair. I’ll admit that I was cringing the entire time while passing the blow dryer and flat iron over each section, but I was really eager to do a length check and switch things up a bit. I’ll deal with the heat damage (crossing fingers that my curls snap back in place) later.
The whole process only took about an hour and a half, it’s just the upkeep that turns me off, but dealing with my curls annoys me the same way. Hence why protective styles always win!
I’ve only had to use the flat iron once since initially straightening it last Sunday. To keep the ends flipped and curled, I flexi rod small/medium sections every night. Some sections I flexi rod over, and some I do under to achieve the messy scattered look.
Do you think I should keep this longer than two weeks?
